Who Uses This Module?

  • Dispatchers -- Day-to-day booking management, driver assignment, and real-time trip monitoring
  • Operations Managers -- Oversight of dispatch performance, fleet utilization, and service quality metrics
  • Fleet Supervisors -- Monitoring driver availability, tracking vehicle locations, and managing peak hour configurations
  • Account Managers -- Managing client relationships, setting up monthly booking contracts, and reviewing client-specific reports

Typical Workflow

A standard dispatch workflow follows these steps:

  1. Receive a booking -- A booking is created either manually by the dispatcher, through an API integration, or imported from an external platform.
  2. Assign a driver -- The dispatcher uses the Dispatch Board to assign an available driver to the trip.
  3. Monitor the trip -- The Live Tracking page shows the driver's real-time position as the trip progresses.
  4. Complete the trip -- The driver completes the trip, and the system records the final fare, distance, and duration.
  5. Review and report -- The Dashboard aggregates all completed trips into operational metrics for performance review.

The Dispatch module integrates tightly with the Finance module. Completed trips automatically feed into revenue reports, driver commissions, and payroll calculations.
