Personal Settings

Manage your profile information, address, bank details, security credentials, preferences, and notification settings.

Personal Settings allow each user to manage their own account information, security credentials, and platform preferences. These settings are private to your account and do not affect other users or company-wide configuration.

Navigation: Settings > Personal

Overview

The Personal Settings page is organized into tabbed sections. Each section focuses on a specific aspect of your account.

Profile

The Profile section contains your basic identity information that is visible to other team members and administrators within the platform.

Updating Your Profile

  1. Navigate to Settings > Personal > Profile.
  2. Click the Edit button or directly click on a field to modify it.
  3. Update the desired fields.
  4. Click Save to apply the changes.

Your email address serves as your login identifier and cannot be changed from this page. If you need to update your email, contact your system administrator.

Profile Photo

To upload or change your profile photo:

  1. Click on the current photo or the photo placeholder.
  2. Select an image file from your device.
  3. The photo is uploaded and applied immediately.

Supported formats include JPG, PNG, and WebP. For best results, use a square image of at least 200x200 pixels.

Address

The Address section stores your home or mailing address. This information may be used by HR for official correspondence, employment records, and regulatory compliance.

Updating Your Address

  1. Navigate to Settings > Personal > Address.
  2. Fill in or update the address fields.
  3. Click Save to store the changes.

Your address may be used in official payroll documents and tax filings. Ensure it is accurate and up to date, especially if you have recently relocated.

Bank Details

The Bank Details section stores the bank account information where your salary and reimbursements are deposited. This information is kept confidential and is only accessible to you and authorized payroll administrators.

Updating Bank Details

  1. Navigate to Settings > Personal > Bank Details.
  2. Enter or update your banking information.
  3. Click Save to confirm.

Double-check your account number and IBAN before saving. Incorrect bank details can cause payroll deposit failures or delays. If your bank details change, update them before the next payroll cycle to ensure timely payment.

Security

The Security section allows you to manage your login credentials. Keeping your password strong and up to date is essential for account security.

Changing Your Password

To change your password:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Personal > Security.
  2. Enter your Current Password in the first field.
  3. Enter your New Password in the second field.
  4. Enter the new password again in the Confirm New Password field.
  5. Click Change Password to apply.

If you have forgotten your current password and cannot log in, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset it via email.

Security Best Practices

  • Change your password at least every 90 days.
  • Do not reuse passwords from other platforms.
  • Never share your password with colleagues, even administrators.
  • Use a password manager to generate and store strong passwords.

Preferences

The Preferences section lets you customize how the platform looks and behaves for your account.

Updating Preferences

  1. Navigate to Settings > Personal > Preferences.
  2. Select your preferred options from the dropdown menus.
  3. Click Save to apply.

Timezone settings affect how scheduled times, attendance records, and report dates appear to you. If you work across multiple timezones, set this to your primary operating timezone.

Notifications

The Notifications section controls which alerts you receive via email and within the platform. You can enable or disable notifications by category to reduce noise while still receiving critical updates.

Managing Notifications

  1. Navigate to Settings > Personal > Notifications.
  2. Toggle each notification category on or off for each channel (Email and In-app).
  3. Changes are saved automatically.

Some critical notifications (such as security alerts and password resets) cannot be disabled. These are sent regardless of your notification preferences to ensure account security.

  • Managers and Approvers: Keep all approval-related notifications enabled (Leave, Expense, Reimbursement) to avoid bottlenecks in approval workflows.
  • Drivers: Enable Schedule Changes and Fine Notifications to stay informed about shift updates and any penalties.
  • Finance Team: Enable Payroll and Expense notifications to track financial processing.
  • All Users: Keep System Announcements enabled to receive important platform updates.

Troubleshooting
