Settings

Configure your TransportechAI platform -- personal preferences, company structure, employee policies, and HR rules.

The Settings module is the central configuration hub for your TransportechAI platform. It controls everything from your personal profile and security preferences to company-wide policies for roles, departments, schedules, and HR benefits. Properly configuring these settings ensures that the rest of the platform -- dispatch, fleet, finance, and HR -- operates according to your organization's rules and structure.

How to Access

Click the Settings icon in the sidebar menu (gear icon), or navigate to your profile avatar in the top-right corner and select Settings. The available settings depend on your role and permissions.

Settings Categories

The Settings module is organized into four main categories, each addressing a distinct area of configuration.

Personal Settings

Personal settings are unique to each user and do not affect other team members or company-wide behavior.

General Settings

General settings define the organizational structure and company-wide configuration. These are typically managed by administrators.

Employee Settings

Employee settings control workforce policies related to scheduling, attendance, and disciplinary actions.

HR Settings

HR settings govern leave policies, financial benefits, and compensation structures for your workforce.

Who Manages These Settings?

The exact settings visible to each user depend on the permissions assigned to their role. If you cannot see a settings section that you expect to access, contact your system administrator to review your role permissions.

If you are configuring TransportechAI for the first time, follow this order to avoid dependency issues:

  1. Departments -- Create your organizational structure first.
  2. Roles and Permissions -- Define roles and assign access levels.
  3. Holidays -- Set up public and company holidays before configuring schedules.
  4. Employee Settings -- Configure schedules, attendance rules, and fine types.
  5. HR Settings -- Set up leave, loan, benefit, and allowance policies.
  6. Personal Settings -- Each user can then configure their own profile and preferences.
