Owner Dashboard

Owner Dashboard

Executive-level dashboard providing company owners with real-time insights into financials, operations, and workforce performance.

The Owner Dashboard is your command center for monitoring the overall health and performance of your fleet management business. It consolidates data from across the entire platform into three focused views -- Financials, Operations, and Workforce -- so you can make informed strategic decisions without digging through individual modules.

Navigation: Owner Dashboard (accessible from the main sidebar)

Who Is This For?

The Owner Dashboard is designed for:

  • Company Owners -- Monitor the big picture: revenue, profitability, fleet utilization, and team performance
  • Executive Management -- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across all business areas
  • Business Partners -- Review high-level performance data during stakeholder meetings

The Owner Dashboard is read-only. It aggregates data from other modules (Finance, Dispatch, HR) into visual summaries. To make changes to underlying records, navigate to the relevant module directly.

What Insights Does It Provide?

The dashboard is organized into three main views, each accessible via its own tab or route:

ViewRoutePurpose
Financials/owner/financialsRevenue trends, cost breakdowns, profit margins, vehicle ROI, and top/bottom financial performers
Operations/owner/operationsTrip volumes, vehicle utilization rates, booking patterns, peak hours, and platform-level breakdowns
Workforce/owner/workforceEmployee headcount, attendance rates, driver performance rankings, and leave utilization

How to Access

  1. Log in to TransportechAI with an account that has Owner or Admin privileges
  2. Click Owner Dashboard in the main sidebar navigation
  3. You will land on the default view. Use the tabs at the top to switch between Financials, Operations, and Workforce

Access to the Owner Dashboard requires Owner-level permissions. If you do not see the Owner Dashboard in your sidebar, contact your system administrator to verify your role and permissions.

Date Range Filtering

All three views share a date range selector at the top of the page. This allows you to filter every metric, chart, and ranking to a specific time period.

PresetDescription
TodayData for the current day only
This WeekMonday through today
This MonthFirst day of the current month through today
Last MonthThe entire previous calendar month
This QuarterCurrent quarter (Q1, Q2, Q3, or Q4)
This YearJanuary 1 through today
Custom RangeSelect any start and end date manually

By default, the dashboard displays data for the current month. Changing the date range updates all cards, charts, and tables on the active view simultaneously.

Use the date range selector to compare different periods. For example, switch between "This Month" and "Last Month" to quickly spot trends in revenue or trip volumes.

Dashboard Structure

Each of the three views follows a consistent layout:

  1. Summary Cards -- Top-level KPI cards showing headline numbers with period-over-period change indicators
  2. Trend Charts -- Visual charts showing how key metrics change over time within the selected date range
  3. Breakdown Tables -- Detailed tables that drill down into specific categories, vehicles, employees, or platforms
  4. Rankings -- Top and bottom performer lists to highlight what is working and what needs attention

Key Concepts

Period-over-Period Comparison

Most summary cards display a percentage change compared to the previous equivalent period. For example, if you are viewing "This Month," the comparison is against last month. This helps you quickly identify whether metrics are trending up or down.

Data Freshness

Dashboard data is calculated from live transactional records. When a new trip is completed, an expense is approved, or an attendance record is logged, it is reflected in the Owner Dashboard on the next page load.

Currency

All monetary values are displayed in your company's configured currency (e.g., AED, USD, EUR). Currency formatting follows the locale settings configured for your account.

Next Steps

  • Financials -- Understand revenue, costs, and profitability across your fleet
  • Operations -- Monitor trip volumes, vehicle utilization, and booking patterns
