My Attendance
How to view and understand your personal attendance records, including daily logs, summaries, and historical data.
The My Attendance page gives every employee a personal view of their own attendance history. It provides daily clock-in/clock-out records, monthly summaries, and helps employees identify any gaps or discrepancies they may need to correct.
Navigation: HR > Attendance > My Attendance
What You Will See
When you open My Attendance, you are presented with a calendar-based view of your attendance records for the current month. Each day shows a summary of your clock-in time, clock-out time, and total hours worked.
Monthly Calendar View
The calendar view displays each day of the month with color-coded indicators:
| Color | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Green | Full attendance -- you clocked in and out within your scheduled shift |
| Orange | Partial attendance -- late arrival, early departure, or only half the shift worked |
| Red | Absent -- no clock-in recorded and no approved leave for the day |
| Blue | On Leave -- an approved leave record exists for the day |
| Gray | Weekend / Off Day -- not a scheduled working day |
Click on any day in the calendar to see the detailed attendance record for that date.
Daily Attendance Detail
When you click on a specific day, the detail panel shows:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Date | The specific date of the record |
| Shift | The shift you were scheduled for on this day |
| Scheduled Start | Your expected clock-in time based on your assigned shift |
| Scheduled End | Your expected clock-out time based on your assigned shift |
| Actual Clock In | The time you actually clocked in |
| Actual Clock Out | The time you actually clocked out |
| Total Hours | The calculated working hours for the day |
| Overtime | Any hours worked beyond the scheduled shift duration |
| Status | Your attendance status for the day (Present, Late, Absent, etc.) |
| Notes | Any notes or annotations added by you or your manager |
Monthly Summary
At the top of the page (or in a separate summary panel), you can see an aggregated view of your monthly attendance:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Total Working Days | Number of days you were scheduled to work this month |
| Days Present | Number of days you clocked in |
| Days Absent | Number of days with no attendance record and no leave |
| Days on Leave | Number of days covered by approved leave |
| Late Arrivals | Number of days you clocked in after the scheduled start time |
| Early Departures | Number of days you clocked out before the scheduled end time |
| Total Hours Worked | Sum of all working hours for the month |
| Total Overtime | Sum of all overtime hours for the month |
Your monthly attendance summary is used as the basis for payroll calculations. Review it before the payroll cutoff date each month to ensure all your hours are accurately recorded. If you spot any discrepancies, submit an Attendance Request before the deadline.
Navigating Between Months
Use the navigation arrows at the top of the calendar to move between months. You can view your attendance history for any previous month. The current month is always displayed by default when you first open the page.
Identifying Issues
Pay special attention to the following situations:
| Issue | What to Do |
|---|---|
| Missing clock-in or clock-out | Submit an Attendance Request with the correct time and a reason |
| Incorrectly marked as absent | Check if your clock-in was not recorded properly and submit a correction request |
| Overtime not showing | Verify your actual clock-out time -- if it was after your shift ended, submit an overtime request |
| Wrong shift assigned | Contact your manager or HR to correct your shift assignment in the Work Schedule module |
Attendance records for past months may be locked after the payroll processing deadline. If you need corrections for a locked period, contact your HR administrator -- they may need to make manual adjustments.
Tips
- Check your attendance weekly -- Do not wait until the end of the month. Reviewing weekly makes it easier to catch and correct issues while the details are still fresh.
- Know your shift schedule -- Understanding your assigned shift times helps you quickly spot records that do not match your actual working hours.
- Use the search bar -- If you are looking for a specific date, you can quickly jump to it rather than scrolling through the calendar.
